Hi, my name is Ryan. I’m a year old man, working in elementary childcare. I’m also an artist who works with oils (studio is well ventilated, I make sure no smells get to the rest of the house). For hobbies, I do a lot of meditation and yoga, and spend a lot of time reading, as well as drawing and painting. I work a split shift, so I’m home in the afternoons and in bed early on weekdays. I have four houseplants that I keep in the common space. I prefer to keep a relatively tidy home, would like to find a roommate who would also contribute to the housework. I don’t have any pets, but am cool with cats. LGBTQ+ friendly. I do not drink or smoke, and am hoping to find a roommate who also doesn’t, or at least only drinks socially.

The room for rent is in a great home in the Greenfield neighborhood. Home is mostly furnished, though the room to be rented would not be. Room to be rented is the largest in the property (there is another bedroom, mine, as well as an office that I use as my art studio.) No TV in the shared spaces. Home is walking distance from lots of shops in Squirrel Hill, as well as grocery and several parks close by. Neighbors are friendly, neighborhood is quiet. Ample street parking. In unit laundry, basement for storage. bath, half bath is in basement. Utilities not included in rent. Cost of utilities varies, but is generally a month with conservative usage.
