Large, bright, sunny, quiet furnished room for rent in a new apartment, shared with easygoing, studious professional couple, sometimes another roommate, and our four friendly cats. Price includes all utilities! The apartment is a 3-bedroom unit with two bathrooms (the second bathroom is shared with one other clean and quiet lodger). The apartment features a balcony, hardwood floors, air conditioning, high-speed internet, Wi-Fi, a dishwasher, and a washer/dryer in the basement. The back bedroom is quiet and features a full-size bed with a brand-new mattress, a closet, shelves, a desk, and a new chair. Quiet tree-lined block near parks, shops, restaurants, Industry City, transport (R and N train at th St., D express at bus.)
We are a laid-back, liberal couple working primarily in the nonprofit sector. We love culture, reading, philosophy, history, spirituality, film, music, art, travel, nature, walking, animals, and yoga. We are seasoned roommates and keep our home clean and tidy; we only require that you do the same.
We have great neighbors in this three-story walk-up, which contributes to the building's friendly community feel. :) Perfect if you are quiet, clean, work or study full-time, and love cats! The kitchen is available for minimal storage and occasional light cooking. We value privacy, but welcome the occasional chat or drink together when conducive. We regret that we cannot accommodate couples or additional pets at this time.
