Description

Hey! I’m looking for someone to share a 1-bedroom apartment with me in my current building in Bankers Hill—right across the street from Balboa Park and the Laurel Street Bridge. Rent is high everywhere, but this place is actually a steal for the area, and we’d be splitting it.

About the place:
• Rooftop patio (hello sunsets & rooftop hangs)
• Atrium-style ceilings = vibey natural light
• Small private balcony overlooking 6th Ave
• Everyone who visits says the building is cool as hell
• Laundry in the building, walkable to the park, grocery, etc.

About me:
I currently live in a studio here, but the one-bedroom is opening and I’d love to share it with someone aligned. I’m a counselor by trade (specializing in substance use), but I’m transitioning into more creative work—podcast, digital content, writing, and offering healing/educational services with a playful and joyful but deep approach.

In a perfect world, this would be someone open to creative collaboration—someone who’s building something too, or would be down to brainstorm or co-create—but at the end of the day, good vibe & mutual respect > any specific skill set.

I’m introverted but fun, music-obsessed, clean, compassionate, and into honesty, growth, and living like a grounded adult. I have a small golden doodle/terrier mix who doesn’t bark, loves people, and is basically a furry peace ambassador.

Not looking for:
• People who treat living together like a free-for-all frat zone
• Folks who can’t own their stuff or say “my bad” when needed
• Anyone allergic to basic communication and shared respect

If you’re someone who wants a cool spot with someone creative, conscious, and kind—and who’s past the messiness but still fun and down to explore life—I’d love to connect and see if we vibe.

Let’s chat. If we click, we can turn a rent-saving move into something that actually feels like a mini sanctuary in the middle of San Diego.
