Description

I am renting a room with ensuite bath in my home close to Monterey Hills, just south of South Pasadena. I am looking for a stable and employed (outside of the home), non-smoking, respectful and neat person to share my home with me and my dog, Lucy. One person only.

The room (approximately ft.) comes with a separate entrance, private ensuite bathroom and large closet. Unfurnished - but dresser, cabinet and large bookcase optional. The room and bathroom are freshly painted. The bathroom has a new vanity, new toilet and new flooring.

The rent is $ per month for a 6-month lease (thereafter month to month). Move in: First-month rent and $ security deposit, with non-refundable $ for credit check.

The house has central AC/heating and backyard patio, there is plenty of unrestricted street parking, and the property boasts fruit trees and beautiful rose bushes.

Utilities and WIFI included, with kitchen, dining room and garden privileges.

Tenant criteria:
- You must be employed out of the home (no remote work), must pass a credit check, be neat, clean and respectful in shared common areas (and keep your room and bath clean), no drugs or smoking, no pets, etc.
- Other matters to be discussed in person

About the neighborhood:
- A lovely park is located across the street providing great opportunities for walks, hikes and picnics
- We are a mile away from the vibrant Figueroa St. scene with lots of restaurants and shops
- We are just south of South Pasadena and east of Highland Park and within striking distance to Pasadena, Alhambra and El Sereno. We are close to downtown L.A.
- # Harbor Freeway exit and entrance are less than a mile away
- The Highland Park Metro stop is about miles away

About me and Lucy
I am a writer and work at home most of the time. I tend to like my privacy, but I hope that we would get along nicely. I am vaccinated for flu and Covid (and hope for the same consideration). Lucy is a small, friendly dog.
