Looking for room, June/July move-in

Hello! I'm a woman looking for a place in Uptown Manhattan or western Brooklyn or Queens. I'll be working on the Upper East Side starting in September, and an easy commute is my top priority. I'd like to live with only one roommate if possible, but I'm open to two (no more than that, please--I value kitchen space!). I'm looking for an unfurnished room that can fit a full bed. In-building laundry and/or a dishwasher would be a big plus, but I know you can't have everything in New York within my budget :) As a roommate, I'm friendly but I do tend to stay in my room a lot. I'm very clean in communal spaces and pretty much never have people over (I'm aro/ace, so no significant others). I'm happy to answer any questions about myself and my room preferences!
