Looking for a responsible and clean roommate to take over my portion of the lease in a brand new modern elevator apartment in Jersey City min from Journal Square
. You’d be sharing the apartment with a roommate, who is a respectful, quiet professional person with a cat. The building has common work spaces, bike room, package room, roof top sun deck with views of lower Manhattan and on super.

The apartment is spacious with two bedrooms, two full baths, and a shared living/dining/kitchen space. You will have your own bathroom and shower. In unit washer and dryer and Dishwasher. Your own large closet with a shared coat closet upfront.
Rent is $ total, split between two people.

Lease runs through October with the opportunity to renew lease.

I am moving out for personal reasons and helping find a vetted, reliable tenant to replace me on the lease. You would go through landlord approval and officially take over my spot until end of lease (4 months) if you decide to leave before 4 months you will have to find a replacement to take your place in the lease as well.

Great location, close to many forms of public transport and plenty of available free street parking.
Ideal roommate: responsible, employed, good communication, pays rent on time.
