Hi! I’m moving out at the end of July and looking for someone to take over my spot in a great apartment starting August 1st.

The Apartment:
• $/month + utilities (pretty low usually)
• First-floor unit near Armitage & Pulaski
• sq ft total
• Central air & heating – cool in summer, warm in winter
• Shared rent: $/month total

The Room:
• Master bedroom in the apartment
• Fits a queen-sized bed EASILY with tons of space for a desk + more
• Walk-in closet
• Right across from the bathroom

Amenities:
• FREE LAUNDRY
• Well kept backyard
• Quiet respectful neighbors
• Close to Metra + buses to the blue line
• Park on the corner to exercise or walk
• Board game nights amongst our building because we have such a great relationship

There’s also a small back room (currently has crafting tables and storage) that the remaining roommate is planning to turn into a craft/office space. Why am I leaving you ask? I’m taking the basement unit

The Roommate:
• yr old female full-time community organizer / outreach coordinator
• Works from home in criminal legal reform & decarceration
• Travels frequently for work and is often out and about
• Keeps things clean and tidy — dishes don’t linger
• Has a sweet 5 yr old cat named Magnolia who loves people and gets along with other animals (including dogs!)

The Vibe:
Looking for someone who’s down to help maintain a cool, calm, and collective home — clean, respectful, and grounded. Must be LGBTQ friendly
