Hello, my name is Elif and I’m an associate professor in public health. I’m coming to NYU as a visiting scholar for three months starting in September. I’m looking for a furnished room or apartment to rent, with the possibility of extending my stay. My preferred area is Astoria, Queens, but I’m also open to other safe neighborhoods with easy access to Manhattan. Jersey City could also be an option if it’s within minutes by train or bus.

I’m specifically looking for a place with a female roommate.
