Hi everyone! I’m looking for someone to sublet my room at The Berkeley Farmhouse from August . It’s a warm, community-focused co-op with amazing housemates and two very sweet dogs.

Cost:
$ utilities + $ shared food = $/month

About the House:
We live in a renovated Victorian farmhouse with shared values around intentional and communal living. The house includes:

Large kitchen
Cozy living room
Multipurpose room (yoga, meditation, etc.)
Backyard with fire pit, fruit trees, garden beds
Two shared offices
Two bathrooms per floor
Shared vegetarian dinners 3x/week

About the People:
Housemates are years old and come from all over the world, including Ethiopia, Iran, and Germany. We’re artists, educators, musicians, healers, and activists who value mutual care, autonomy, and fun. This is a BIPOC-inclusive space, though we are majority white and want to name that for BIPOC applicants.

COVID Safety:
Masking: Varies, not % in public indoor spaces
Air filters: Yes, HEPA in shared rooms
If someone tests positive: isolation, solo kitchen use, masks in common areas, open windows

Accessibility:
All bedrooms are upstairs
Entry requires stairs
Bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible
Kitchen and common areas are only reachable by stairs

Pets:
We have two sweet dogs (Aussiedoodle and Goldendoodle). No additional pets during sublet.
