Description
Hi there!
As I am going home for my master‘s thesis, I will be subletting my room.
The room will be available from now until the end of September and can be rented with a normal contract from October (if you are interested). As I have a notice period of 3 months, I have to stay in the tenancy until the end of September, which is why I am subletting until then.
About the room:
There is everything you need, a bed, desk + chair, wardrobe and shelves are provided by the Studierendenwerk and have to stay in the room.
However, you can easily dismantle the bed and put it behind the wardrobe to set up your own bed (that's what I did).
The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, we even have a coffee machine.
There are two washing machines in the basement of the residence that can be paid for with your student ID.
Location
You live super close to the Bopser and the Tee-Haus from where you have a super nice view over the city and can enjoy the sunsets. The nearest bus stop is a 2-minute walk away and the subway is only 5 minutes away. Rewe is within walking distance and Lidl is not far either. You can walk to the Gerber mall in about minutes. There you will find everything you need, a pharmacy, dm, Edeka, Aldi, clothes stores etc.
The Heusteigviertel, where the room is located, is my favorite district in Stuttgart because there are so many beautiful old buildings and small cafés. It takes minutes to get to the university (city center), which was perfect for me. It takes a bit longer to get to Vaihingen.
Flatmate
My flatmate Johanna is studying Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Stuttgart.
Other important information
As the room is located in the Studierendenwerk residence, it is required that you are a registered student.
