Room for rent near Minneapolis!

Description

Rent begins mid October. If you need to move in sooner, please let us know and we’ll see what we can do.
Additional costs: utilities (water, trash, Internet, electricity). Payments are all made via Venmo.
Location: Quiet, safe neighborhood in Mounds View (north of Minneapolis).
Amenities: Free laundry, free parking spot in garage, spacious kitchen, backyard, porch
Unfortunately, this place is NOT pet friendly (2 of us have allergies)
We’d like someone who can stay for at least a year from the time they move in. Rent is yearly and renews every June.
Vibes: I’ve hosted the occasional game night or Bible study, but otherwise we don’t have large gatherings here, so this is not a good fit if you like to host parties a lot. We keep to ourselves often, but enjoy occasional chats in the kitchen. Communicating via group chat (e.g. boyfriend coming over, hosting a party, updates from landlord) is important. Landlord is prompt with maintenance. Everyone is expected to clean up their own messes in the kitchen and living room as soon as they can.
Notes: This room is in the basement, with the furnace and water heater on the other side of the wall. It gets cold when the A/C runs, and gets cold during the winter in general. Muffles noises outside the house pretty well.
