Looking for a Muslim Male Roommate – Chico State Fall

Hey everyone, I’m looking for a Muslim male roommate for Fall at Chico State. I know it’s short notice, but I’m hoping to find someone chill, respectful, and ready to split an off-campus apartment as soon as possible.

About Me:

I am years old.
a transfer student from Yuba College and I’m a Computer Information Systems major. I’m pretty focused on school. I’d say I’m religious—I eat halal only, don’t drink, don’t party, and I don’t smoke. I’m looking for someone who shares or respects those values.

I’m not an early riser unless I have to be, and I don’t stay up super late either. I like a calm, clean, and relaxed home environment where we can both do our own thing without stress or drama.

I’m into Archery, Hiking, Skiing, Tennis, and Gaming. I’m not a big sports guy but I like football.

I’m Pakistani—Pashtoon specifically—so I resonate with both Desi and Afghan culture. If you’re from a similar background, cool, but what matters most is mutual respect and understanding.

What I’m Looking for in a Roommate:
• Muslim or someone who respects halal living (no alcohol, pork, parties, or smoking)
• Clean, responsible, and easy to live with
• Down to communicate and work together to make the space comfortable for both of us
• Open to sharing a room—some one-bedroom apartments go for $/month total, so splitting that would be super affordable

Budget:

My share of rent can go up to around $/month (give or take), but I’m definitely looking to keep it as affordable as possible. College is expensive, so the cheaper the place, the better.
