Mom & Disabled Son Seeking Housing

Description

Hi, My son and I have relocated from Idaho to Oregon and we are searching for a long term home.
My son is and profoundly Autistic and I am his caregiver.
July Idaho cut all funding and stopped the Family Caregiver program which means parents and spouses would no longer be able to get paid to care for their loved ones.
We are in the process of getting services set up here for us to be part of a community that will help him thrive and we will be able to stay together.
We have been approved for deposit and rent assistance from local housing programs.
Right now we're staying in hotels because we are unable to qualify for shelters due to his care level needs.
We have 2 ESA dogs.
