Local green areas include Banstead Woods which is close enough to walk to and around. There is also Farthing Downs and New Hill in the opposite direction and very close by.

There are a few local pubs and two local community theatres.

There is a corner shop (Londis) at the bottom of the road which is open pm

Coulsdon South has Fast Thames Link trains to London Bridge via East Croydon and Clapham - And Brighton is on the other platform via Gatwick

The bus is at the bottom of the road and goes along the A towards Purley

There is also a local road bus which goes to Caterham indirectly.
