About me
Hi, my name is Gianna! I am years old and a current student of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Iowa. I have worked in various healthcare settings over the past two years. Currently, I am a patient care technician within the Burn/Trauma ICU at UIowa's General Hospital. I have recently accepted an offer for a -week summer internship at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester as an OR Core Technician. I am super excited to be gaining more experience in the operating room as I start applying to cardiac perfusion schools in the fall! A little about me is I'm originally from New Jersey, but I have lived in the Midwest for the last three years. I LOVE all animals. If you have a dog, cat, guinea pig, etc. please expect them to be kidnapped frequently. I like to explore new places, try new foods, and just overall meet new people. I can't wait to start this new chapter of my career!
