About me
A little over two years ago, my husband --Memo-- and I made the move to New Orleans. It didn't take long for us to fall head over heels for the city life. We ended up buying a home in the peaceful neighborhood of Gentilly, close enough to soak up all the excitement of downtown and the French Quarter.
Memo is in the military, and I work in Tech. Unfortunately, due to the nature of my husband’s job, we are headed back to California. We have grown so attached to our New Orleans home that we'd love to share it with someone who will love it as much as we do. We've made many memories in this home even though we've only owned it for a short while: we've hosted a lot of parties -- our biggest one during Halloween, did a lot of our first homeowner projects, and shared a lot of love in this home along with our two pups, Turnip and Tulip. Turnip is our mini-goldendoodle, and Tulip? She sort of found us in New Orleans while we were hauling furniture. The vet thinks she's a terrier mix. We couldn't leave her behind, so she's joining us on our California adventures, a reminder of the unexpected joys this city has brought us.
New Orleans is truly magical if you're open to its wonders. We're hoping our home can be a cozy landing spot for anyone starting their journey or coming back to this amazing city.
