Hi! I’m Aaliyah (she/her), years old, Black, queer, and a student at NYU studying Applied Psychology. I work as a contract nanny and freelance on the side, so I’m often busy balancing school and work — but I still make time to enjoy the little things.
I treat my home like a sanctuary: I don’t smoke or drink for health reasons, and I don’t bring the party home. I’m clean, respectful, and very mindful of shared spaces. I love writing poetry, reading, exploring new cafés and restaurants, binge-watching shows, and cozy nights in. I’m a friendly and talkative introvert — calm energy with good vibes only.
Though I’m young, I’ve been financially independent since I was and moved to NYC alone at . I’m looking for a peaceful, long-term living situation with like-minded people. Ideally, I’d love a large, sunny room in a safe neighborhood. My budget is around $/month, slightly flexible for the right fit.
There’s a chance my younger sister (a quiet and sweet high school student) may join me in the future — we’d share a room, and I’d be covering rent alone. If that’s something you’re open to, even better!
