About me

My name is Dominic (, he/him), and I’m moving from Brisbane to study a Master of Film and Television, specialising in Producing, at the University of Melbourne and I’m very excited to find a new place to call home and make new friends along the way!  I am arriving in Melb on Feb 6th and will be free to move in from the th. Over the past 5 years, I have lived in multiple share houses of varying sizes with both mixed and same-gender roommates and have a strong understanding of the importance of respecting and accommodating other people’s spaces and routines. I’m an organised and considerate person who values keeping a tidy and welcoming environment for everyone to enjoy.  My day-to-day will typically include a mix of studying, working part-time, being fixated on random creative projects, and, as I am also an actor, auditioning or working on acting gigs here and there.  In my free time:  * Hobbies include photography, sound design, hiking, rock climbing/bouldering and camping  * Love unwinding with a good playlist, playing video games watching movies and a beer/tequila * I practice meditation, love to sauna and cold plunge, and exercise at the gym * As I am new to the city I will also be exploring as much as I can, so would love either the occasional guide or adventure buddy to join me I’m a friendly, easy-going, and approachable person who genuinely enjoys helping out and creating a harmonious home environment. Whether it’s pitching in with household chores or simply having a chat, I’m always happy to contribute to a positive shared space and lend a hand to keep our home running smoothly.  I am looking forward to joining a household that shares similar home values and goals to me.  Thank you for considering me in your process of housemate hunting!
