Hi! I’m Emma—creative, clean, considerate, and most importantly, communicative. I’m a real estate agent with a love for mid-century furniture history & design, and a full-time mom to a sweet 8-year-old. We live in a sunny, peaceful apartment on the York side of Highland Park, walking distance to all the local gems like Goldfish, Wild Crust, Kumquat, Joy, and more.
We’re a chill duo with a busy weekly rhythm—school, tennis, playdates, and activities keep us out and about. At home, we’re early to bed, love a cozy, calm vibe, and incorporate things like meditation and intention-setting into our routines. I’m looking for a respectful, kind, and clean roommate to move in by May 1st.
We don’t have pets but love them, and we’d be open to a roommate with a mostly quiet, chill, fully potty-trained dog (just no window barkers or generally yappy pups, please!). Happy to take the dog on walks and hikes. Leland would be stoked to have a dog and he is kind and respectful to animals as well.
Ideally, you’re grounded, communicative, and emotionally aware—someone who values a harmonious home and is mindful of shared spaces. Not looking for a new best friend but open to connection if our communication makes sense, otherwise open to sharing a space with respect for everyone in the home.
