I also occasionally volunteer my time to the community by volunteering as firefighters in my city. I'm coming to Washington to study intensive English at the International Center for Language Studies for a year. I'm on leave for the duration of this study and will return to my unit when it's finished. I'm quite relaxed, easygoing, and I enjoy going for walks, having coffee or drinks, reading, playing sports (I'm a fan of CrossFit, athletics, and combat sports. I was a Krav Maga instructor in Versailles, France), watching live music, and going to events.I enjoy talking about everything with respect and openness to socialize, create new friendships, and make new acquaintances, because I think it's important.What I'm looking for:A safe place where I can feel comfortable with friendly people, young and old (students, workers), who understand my not-yet-fluent level of English. I can have daily conversations with them to improve my English and who will help me integrate optimally into the country's life and customs. I'd also really like to be friends and have coffee together sometimes or have dinner (or something else) and maybe introduce you to French culture and teach you the French language.
