Needing a Roommate
I need a roommate in my 2 bedroom apartment. I am can only fully relax once when the place is clean. I put finances above comfort (regarding the thermostat). I am a working student and pay all my own bills so I can’t afford for the thermostat to be set at extreme temperatures. I prefer to make decisions together if those decisions affect one another. Needs will always come before comfort and preferences. Most important of all, let’s talk about problems/ concerns together. Avoidant behavior is immature and will lead nowhere. Nearly every successful group goes through the storming stage before norming and preforming. I’d rather argue/ disagree/ debate than to avoid/ ignore any problems because avoiding problems only leads to discomfort, further internal tension, and ultimately division. We don’t have to be friends but communication, partnership, &/ or having a successful roommate relationship is important to me.
