We (not a couple) have a private, unfurnished room to rent in a nice, quiet, peaceful, no drama home. The room has hardwood floors and faces the street. The room measures ” W x ’ L, the closet measures “ W x “ D. You will share a bathroom with one other person, Jeremy age . So, a male roommate is preferred. A $ deposit and a one-year lease is required. The backyard is large with a large grassy area, a hammock for peaceful reading, patio seating for eating outside and a BBQ. There’s plenty of street parking and 1 space for off street parking if you prefer. This is a great area for walking, mostly levelled streets and it’s even good for walking late at night. The home backs up to the Sandalwood Elementary School so passing the mandatory background check is required by law. No pets, no smoking indoors, no exceptions. The rent is $ a month and utilities are not included in the monthly rent. The utilities are approximately $ a month (more in winter, less in summer). There is no AC but we have plenty of fans. The room stays cool most of the year since it does not have any direct sunlight coming in. Current roomies: Jeremy is a writer and a tutor and he works from home most of the time. He’s very quiet and private. He’s a friendly, mellow person with a good sense of humor. Dee is also a quiet private person who enjoys spiritual pursuits, reading, movies and works in the real estate field She also works mostly from home. She is in and out a lot with no fixed schedule. We’re looking for a third roommate to share the yard, kitchen, living room, dining areas, and utilities. The home is fully furnished, so please know that there is no room for extra furniture outside of the room.
