My roommate is moving out next month (Aug. st), so I’ve got an opening at a pretty sweet townhouse here in Forest Grove.About the house:It’s a three-story duplex with tons of natural light and an almost beach-house-esque feel. The room that’s being vacated is h of the coolest rooms I’ve ever seen in a house, and it could be yours! It has vaulted ceilings, a walk-in closet, a walk-in shower, a soaking tub (separate from the shower) and a fireplace that’s connected to both the bedroom and the bathroom, so you can enjoy it just as easily from the tub as you can from the bed. It’s also on the third floor, which means plenty of airflow and a safe, secluded feeling surrounded by trees.As for the rest of the house, we have a big open-concept second floor with living room, dining room, kitchen, half bath, another fireplace, and a small deck on each end. The second floor is completely furnished with chairs, couches, TV center/games, etc, and there's an alcove that's perfect for use as a workspace/desk. The bottom floor has a third bedroom and bathroom as well as the garage, though the bedroom is one of my workspaces so it isn't available for living. One thing you’ll have to be okay with is cats, because I’ve got an absolute monster. (In a good way! She’s very friendly; she’s just big.) We’ve actually converted the back deck into a catio with homemade structures for her to climb around in; if you have a cat they’ll definitely enjoy it too!The rent for this apartment is $/mo., of which you would pay $. The utilities are around an extra $/mo., which we would split evenly. So for a single roommate, you would pay around $/mo. Also, to meet the required household income of 3x the rent, you would need to make at least $/mo--though I the landlord isn't too strict about that kind of thing.
