I moved to SF a year and a half ago when I took this position and previously was in the East Bay getting my doctorate at UC Berkeley. I have an indoor cat named Luna who is a ~8 year old rescue. She is friendly but aloof, so she likes to hang out and play but isn’t necessarily very cuddly. My work schedule means that I am up early (before 7am) and go to bed early (pm-ish).
