Private Room in 2bd Unit, Fruitvale

We have one private room available in a 2 bedroom unit, located on the bottom floor of a shared family home in Fruitvale. Move in available beginning June 1st.

We're looking for a tenant that will contribute to a comfortable living environment: basically respectful, sharing in household chores, and rent and utilities on time.

We split water, garbage, solar and electricity bills among the whole house.

Month to month lease available.

The available room is one hundred square ft with an additional square ft closet.
The room is unfurnished.

Shared furnished kitchen and living room.

The unit has one and a half shared bathrooms. You would have primary usage and storage in the half bathroom, sharing the shower in the full bathroom.

The tenant of the other room is a man in his thirties who works in the restaurant industry. He's very laid back and happy to chat, and also respects privacy and personal space.


Amenities include Free WiFi and free on property washer and dryer.

The Fruitvale Bart Station is a ten minute walk away. We are a few blocks away from the North Highway on-ramp for easy commutes. Street parking is plentiful right outside the house.

Please note, we are located close to the freeway, so traffic can sometimes be heard while within the house. Noise reducing curtains will be installed in the room to ensure comfortable noise levels.

POC, Queer, neurodiverse and friendly. If you're a smoker, we do ask that you use one of the smoke spots we have set up outside.

Cannot accommodate cats or dogs at this time. Small pets that would be kept primarily in your room, such as gerbils or lizards, are okay.


The room is ready for move in, rent and utilities will be prorated based on move in date.
