Hello, I'm looking for a roommate to share a 2 bedroom apartment in in the Deerhurst area. I have lived here for several years, so the apartment is fully furnished, except the available bedroom. I am looking for a roommate starting in early August. The landlord does require a credit check and references. I am a -year-old ESL teacher. I love to learn new things, read, and do crafts. I'm a big homebody and spend a lot of time in my room, but I am more than happy to socialize as well. I can be a bit of a chatterbox. I love movie nights and interesting conversations. I am hoping to find someone who I could become friends with, but as long as I find someone mature and pleasant, I'll be happy.What I am looking for: A female roommate and need someone who is ok with cats. It is also important that I find someone who is responsible about keeping clean and upholding their half of housekeeping responsibilities. I'm looking for someone who is a respectful communicator and does not drink or party excessively. Also, no indoor smokers please.Rent is currently $/month per person and includes gas and water. We are responsible for electric and internet. The split cost of internet is $ per person and electric rarely, if ever, goes above around $. I own a washer and dryer, which you would be welcome to use, but to cover wear and tear, I would ask for a maintenance fee of $/month. Additionally, there is a coin operated washer and dryer available to any tenants that you could choose to use instead. Rent also includes a parking spot. Cats are ok, but a pet deposit is required. I am currently planning on getting a second cat, so we would need to check with the landlord, since the lease as written states a two-cat limit, but other tenants have 3, so it may be ok. No dogs or other exotic pets. Hello all! I am looking for female roommates only. (Sorry men, I have just had better experiences overall with women.) I have 2 bedrooms up for rent. One is upstairs and it is the one that is fully furnished in the photos. I would prefer to keep it that way if possible so I don’t have to move anything out other than maybe the chairs, side tables etc, however I would do it, begrudgingly lol.The second bedroom is the basement bedroom. It’s quite large (larger than both upstairs rooms) with a decent semi walk-in closet and extremely small but full bathroom, shower only. It would have its own private entrance through the basement. Both have their own unique circumstances which I will be fully transparent about prior to any rental. This will be considered a “landlord-tenant” relationship vs “roommate” however this doesn’t allow me to list that way. Rental will be month to month so that way anyone that needs to leave, move, etc can do so quickly with a day notice, and not be locked in to 6 or more months at a time. The house is fully stocked so you will not need to supply any dishes etc. and you are welcome to have creative freedom inside your room, just no painting. I have 2 inside dogs that live here full time, both unfixed females. I prefer no more animals. (I may consider circumstantially). My boyfriend visits every weekend and stays with me Friday evening 5p and leaves Monday mornings. We are currently building a house together and hoping to have it finished before Christmas (fingers crossed) and we’ll be moving in there, so about months at most. If you want to discuss a different rental agreement after that point, I will be open to it as I’d like to continue renting at least until spring/summer. I am pretty laid back and quiet, looking for same. Preferably someone moderately friendly and clean. Happy to be friends, but not required! I’m fine with overnight guests, but they can’t live here, I don’t want a “couples” situation. References available!
