I’m looking to rent out my spare bedroom. I live in a condo close to the palladium shopping center in Greensboro, NC. I just got done renovating both bedrooms in my apartment, and it looks pretty good. I have two cats that are pretty chill, other than the occasional zoomies at night! I rarely have people over and I occasionally go out, I’m clean, respectful, and I’m pretty quiet. I’d like to find someone who values those traits as well. I used to rent the room out on Airbnb before my HOA made me shut it off ( stars with over a hundred guests!), and I had the same roommate for over a year and a half now, just looking for someone to move in now that the renovations are done. Anything in the apartment is free game to use (washer, drier, dish washer, fridge, kitchen, cabinets etc). We also have a pool that is now open for the season! We have a really nice greenway within short walking distance to the complex, very cool for people who like a bit of nature! I’m also more than happy to share the living room space, if we vibe I would encourage it! I’m a very accepting person, with all races, religions, ethnicities, sexualities, and genders being welcome and appreciated (I did NOT vote for the man with orange complexion. He is, in fact, bad). The common areas— kitchen, living room, dining room, and both bathrooms—are fully furnished by the current tenants and shared among roommates. The open bedroom is unfurnished. The house has updated appliances including a large refrigerator, washer & dryer, and a dishwasher. There’s both a front and back porch for relaxing. The location is convenient—just a short drive to UNCG and/or downtown Greensboro. There is private and street parking available. Public transportation is easily accessible, with a bus stop less than a block away on Spring Garden Street. Under a twelve-month group lease, rent is paid directly to the landlord. In addition to rent (but not included in the group lease), utilities are currently in one roommate's name so this payment is split and collected via Venmo once per month. We are two young and strong independent professional women currently working in child care and behavioral science. We both work most days in a week but are around most mornings and evenings. We are non-religious, empathetic, left of center, LGBTQ+ allies, and four-twenty friendly. We are nerdy introverts! We like spending most evenings chilling in front of the TV, going for walks, or making homemade bread and yogurt. Some nights we hang together, other nights we do our own thing. We both like to cook, especially on the weekends. Communication is key in this household! We each have 2 cats and one has a dog as well, so we are NOT taking additional pets.
