This is a fantastic opportunity for a new roommate in our .5-bathroom apartment in Park Slope, Brooklyn, near Gowanus. Situated on the th floor, this apartment offers breathtaking city views. We are looking for a responsible and mature professional roommate (s preferred, etc) who can commit for at least months from September . The rent will be $ per month. The room is approx "The bedroom is cozy yet spacious, with good closet space. You'll share the apartment with two roommates and one cat—single people only -- no couples. A cat or a dog could work as long as they can get along with the current residents.Occasional low-key get-togethers with a few friends will work, but big parties won't. The current roommates are extremely approachable and friendly but generally do their own thing.The apartment has wood floors and a large, open kitchen/living/dining area (with a small balcony) overlooking sunsets over the New York harbor. The kitchen has lots of counter space and a dishwasher and is excellent for cooking.We are looking for a professional or artist in their s who will appreciate and contribute to the friendly environment here—no smoking in the apartment.This is an excellent location in Park Slope. You are one block from the R, F, and G trains at the th St subway station. 5th Avenue has many great restaurants, gyms, cafes, coffee shops, and more. Prospect Park is only .7 miles up the hill.Heat and hot water are included in the rent. You will be responsible for your share of electricity, gas, and internet, usually between $ total per person per month (depending on usage). Laundry is in the basement of the building. By subway, it is fifteen to twenty minutes to Forty-Second Street's Time Square and thirty minutes to Fourteenth Street's Union Square.Fyi, the apartment is also walking distance of many restaurants and fast-food eateries. It's near several local neighborhood bars and three nearby Grocery Markets which are all within walking distance.Btw, Riverbank State Park, another minute walk from the apartment, has an ice skating rink that transitions into a roller skating rink in the warmer months. From the front of the apartment building, you can see the rink in the park at the end of the street.There is also an indoor Olympic-sized swimming pool as well as an outdoor swimming pool.The park also provides indoor and outdoor basketball courts, running tracks, soccer courts, tennis courts, and a gym for weight training, all just minutes away from the apartment.
