Room for rent | Mink Street Northwest, Thurston County, WA, USA

New Listing

I moved into this simple home, in October of with my partner, but unfortunately she had a difficult time adapting to this city. She moved back to her hometown in eastern Washington, May of , and visits times a year.Needless to say, Ive been living here all by myself for a year now. Its been a nice experience, but the truth is that I prefer to live in community. Ive lived in several communal spaces in the past, and its really nice to share space with friendly, healthy, positive people. The house is currently a little empty, but I will be buying some new furniture (couch, etc.) to make the house more accommodating. I am renting out the spare bedroom (unfurnished). It is cozy and has a great view of the eld inlet. You will have access to the inlet for kayaking, etc, if your into that. There are also some raised beds for gardening, if you want to grow some veggies. (The beds need a little bit of weeding.) It is a month to month lease, $ and that includes all utilities. Anyway, a quick blurb about me. years old, male. I am a professional full time artist. I make artisan ceramic teapots for a living (Tsutsumi Teapots). I have a separate building on the property, its my pottery studio and that is where I work pretty much all day, 7 days a week. actually planning to get a part time job, just for fun. I need to shake up my routine. lol. I live a very simple life. I dont have a television, I eat healthy, exercise regularly, meditate every morning, I read or listen to podcasts, and I dont drink or smoke tobacco. I consumed cannabis maybe times last year. I think its a powerful plant that can help expand a person's consciousness, and it should not be abused. * No alcohol, no tobacco, no illegal drugs allowed on the property. Cannabis is ok.*Tell me about yourself. If you are a good candidate, I will schedule a quick video call with you. After that, you will be invited to come out and see the property.
